304 stainless steel is equivalent to my country's 0Cr19Ni9 (0Cr18Ni9) stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is a versatile stainless steel material with superior rust resistance compared to 200 series stainless steel. It can withstand high temperatures up to 1000-1200°C. 304 stainless steel exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and good resistance to intergranular corrosion. Experiments have shown that 304 stainless steel exhibits strong corrosion resistance in nitric acid below boiling temperature with a concentration of ≤65%. It also exhibits good corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids. It is suitable for use in textiles, aerospace, electronics, telecommunications, mesh weaving, hose braiding, lashing, stainless steel wire rope, stainless steel wire brushes, marine applications, and staples.
